Derek Daly - President

Role: The President`s role is to represent students both within the University and on a local and national level. By way of doing this, he has to sit on (many) University committees and rant in favour of students. He also has responsibility for coordinating all the activities of the Union and supervising finances, along with the General Manager.

If you need to talk to someone about the Union, the University or national issues affecting UL students then come talk to the President.

Bio: Derek is a BBS (Accounting and Finance - HR Minor) graduate of the class of 2009. He is an only child from Limerick City and has lived here all his life. Not much of an explorer; Derek likes the odd break away here and there. A bit of a politico, an unenthusiastic athlete and married to the job, Derek is always willing to sit down for a chat and hopes to bring a new openness to the Union.
