Student Survey results are in

THE results of the survey, which was sent to all students regarding the Students’ Union, are in. The survey, which was circulated by the Students’ Union by email, asked students for their opinions on the SU and the work they do.
The results were compiled over two days by co-op student, Julieann Evans, who is working in the Communications Office, and who claims that UL Students want to see the SU perform to the best of their ability.
“The Students’ Union wanted students to be saying something about the work that was being done, even if it was a negative comment, because they want to hear the students’ voices and want to see some real change.
“We were really happy with the response and the feedback, and we will be doing our very best to adapt to the advice we were given.”
Nearly 2,000 students took part in the survey, with the best results being from first years, 35.4 per cent of whom were unaware of raising and giving but were familiar with the term RAG.
Students were also given the opportunity to leave comments on the work that the Students’ Union, which the majority of the students that took part in the survey.
