SU Shortlisted for SMedia Awards

THE Students’ Union, UL students, An Focal and its writers have been shortlisted for a number of Student Media Awards. The SMedias are now in their 10th year and are the only National Student Awards in the country.

The ULSU website, which was redesigned for the second time last summer, has been shortlisted for website of the year while An Focal has been shortlisted for a total of four awards. • Sports Journalist of the Year – Craig Hughes


• Journalist of the Year (National Press) – Craigh Hughes


• Editor of the Year – Aoife Ni Raghallaigh


• People’s Choice Award – An Focal

The SMedias will be held on April 21 in Mansion House, Dublin.
