posted 04th JanUniversity Of Limerick Students Union are seeking applications from Suitably Qualified Candidates for the Position of:
CLUBS AND SOCIETIES LIAISON OFFICER
The role will be based in the UL Campus, The standard 35 hour working week is Monday to Friday. Flexi-time is available with core hours of 11am-5pm. It is a requirement of the job to attend Clubs and Societies Council once a fortnight during Semester which may run until 7:30pm.
The successful candidate will be offered a 3 year fixed term contract subject to a 6 month probation period. Also the role will be reviewed for sustainability after 12 months. There will be opportunities for employee empowerment within this role to ensure Sustainability.
Main Duties comprise but not limited to:
- Administering Clubs and Societies budget allowances. This will involve ensuring funds awarded are reasonably spent in line with budget, preparing cheques, and recording Clubs and Societies income and expenditure
- Secretariat to Clubs and Societies
- Management of Clubs and Societies meeting bookings and invoicing for Vehicles and Meeting Rooms
- Liaison with Sports Administrator, Arts Officer and any other University of Limerick staff whose involvement is deemed to be beneficial to Clubs and Societies
- Maintain Clubs and Societies Web presence and Social Media Outlets
- Other relevant activities as may be assigned by the Clubs and Societies Development Officer, Clubs and Societies Executive or Clubs and Societies Council from time to time

- Familiarity with bookkeeping techniques
- Pro-active, Innovative, Customer Service Oriented
