SHAG Week presents - epic Lube Party!
Nov
SHAG week is a campaign run in colleges across the country to promote a safe and responsible attitude to sex. It's not just about condoms though, it's much, much more.
Today Chlamydia is the number one STI among students and the situation must be tackled. With education we can make people more aware of their rights and responsibilities, should they chose to be sexually active.
The message for this year is that all your decisions should be informed ones. The SU will spend an entire week promoting the benefits of practising safer sex through events, literature and S.H.A.G week promotions.
The ULSU Students' Union are holding their Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance Week from November 7th to November 11th.
The main event of the week will be held this Wednesday, November 9th, in The Hurlers Bar. The Lube Party, as it is titled, will kick of at around 9pm. All proceeds raised from this night will go towards the cost of buses to the National Fees Protest being held in Dublin on November 16th.
