Students' Union General Meeting

THE Students’ Union General Meeting (UGM) will be held on Wednesday of Week 3 and all students are invited to attend.
Every registered student who attends the UGM has the opportunity to ask their Sabbatical Officers questions about Union activities, but also to vote on motions which are brought forward at the General Meeting. Any student can bring forward a motion to the UGM which will mandate the Union to take a certain action in future.
The Students' Union will be bringing a number of motions to the UGM including a motion which will see the date of the Sabbatical Elections moved to Week 10 so they will not clash with Charity Week.
All motions to be considered at the General Meeting must be submitted to the Communications Officer by Wednesday of Week 2, February 3 by 5pm. They must also be proposed by five students and seconded by 10. Motions can be submitted to sucommunications@ul.ie or by calling into the Students' Union.
